MusiCalifornia was an uncompromising, verite-style 80s music magazine program for French TV featuring live performances and interviews by some of alternative rock's most groundbreaking and enduring forces. The show used legendary underground Los Angeles nightclubs as its backdrop and took a gutsy and intelligent glimpse at the burgeoning independent music scene during its inception. MusiCalifornia includes footage documenting an incredible array of talented mainstream and cult artists from an era which will soon be regarded as a golden age for American new music.
